This 30 minute guided breathwork meditation features vocal guidance by Michael Kass and sound guidance by Electric Soundbath.
Breathwork is a simple, powerful active meditation that can help release old emotions, gain clarity around ongoing challenges, and foster a deeper connection with self and others. The practice itself is extremely simple:
Lie on your back with your eyes closed, hands at your sides.
Breathe in to your belly.
Breathe in to your chest.
Exhale.
The exhale is simple a release, a sigh. And the inhales can be as gentle as you wish.
Repeat for, in the case of this guided track, 20 minutes. Then shift the breathing to a single inhale/exhale as you recharge and relax.
The practice is simple, safe, and experiential. That said, if you are pregnant or have a chronic heart condition, use your best judgement and consult with a medical professional before engaging in this practice.
